Any promising approach to treatment thus focuses on avoiding or removing triggering risk factors (for example, blood clotting disorders, lack of movement, oral contraceptives).<\/p>\n<p>A conservative approach to treating VT includes compression therapy and immediate medication therapy with blood thinners.
